incorrect backdash

Abbreviated “IB,” an incorrect backdash is when you use a movement ability in a video game that’s intended to make you move backwards to instead move forward. Performed by simply turning around and using the backdash, then turning around again. This also refers to backdash abilities that are more useful as forward dashes.

That speedrunner pulled off a really sick incorrect backdash.
