Bioculture

The accumulated and regular interactions of multiple biological entities over their lifecycles and between species, commonly influenced by and influencing their environment from local to global scales. It represents the living, breathing reality that you cannot separate a habitat, its wildlife, and the human communities living there into isolated boxes.
Professor Snobsworthy told me that 'bioculture' wasn't a real noun because it isn't in his dusty old dictionary, even though my entire dissertation proves how the local river, the trout population, and the town's fishing traditions are all locked into one giant, inseparable bioculture.
