Identitarians think everyone but them is evil. Given a choice between, boys laugh about "farting" or "shoving drugs up their ass", they think the latter is true. Between, boys chat about "drinking games" or "gang rape", they pick the latter. They think so poorly of others that they can't see how insane these conclusions are.
They're trapped in a moral panic. Like in the 1980's when people believed that clowns, robots, magic rooms, and blood-laced Kool-Aid were involved in massive child sex abuse rings in daycares. In the 1990's when people thought that the school shootings occurred because of violent video games. When Christians accuse people who play Dungeons & Dragons of Satanism. It's just as outlandish and in 20 years, people will scoff at the people who "actually believed that". Throw common sense out the window. It's not allowed in a moral panic.
