Man of Parts

an antiquated term used in 17th and 18th century England, most famously by Lord Chesterfield, defining a man who is extremely able in multiple endeavors. Recently, the term has been brought back to modern day usage in the book "Libri Neri: The Man's Practical Guide to Natural Charm". Today it has taken on the implication that a man is talented in many areas of life, especially attracting women. However, it is not seen in a negative light such as player, pimp, Lothario, Don Juan, or mack daddy.
"Did you meet that guy Steve? His girl was INSANELY hot, he's a real man of parts."

a guy who is hopelessly pathetic with women. Think Dustin Diamond.
"So she cheated on him and he, being the Melvin that he is, told her HE was sorry and bought her some flowers."
