When you have multiple chat/IM/messenger windows open with different people simultaneously and you inadvertently type and send an insulting/offensive/insensitive comment in the wrong chat window, specifically the one with the person referred to.

Irritable Project Syndrome (IPS)
Occurs when most members of a project team get extremely crabby and short-tempered due to shifting deadlines, impossible deliverables, inadequate resources, or insurmountable constraints. Symptoms include snarky comments, mean emails, shouting matches, escalations, increased absenteeism, sleeplessness, and catatonic withdrawal. Treatment can include alcohol, complaining/venting to your peers, turning off electronic devices, long vacations, and no longer giving a damn.

"Angel, I don't know how to tell you this, but I believe you suffer from Irritable Project Syndrome. But you don't have to suffer alone. "

Any earthquake below 5.0 on the Richter scale. Barely noticeable by Californians, hardly raises any attention by local news or social media.

A tactful way of referring to previous careers, companies, or relationships without specifically mentioning names. A way of avoiding thoughtless name-dropping or boring boastful references to things you have done before at other places or with other people.
1. Company: Rather than saying, "Back at YoYoDyne, we used to do this and that and the other", try "In a past life, I used a different process".
2. Career: Avoid "When I was in the Navy, we always did it this way" and replace with "In a past life, I remember doing things in a certain way".
3. Relationship: Instead of telling your current partner, "Sally and I stayed at that bed and breakfast once", perhaps use, "In a past life, I stayed there and it was nice" instead.
