bread cereal

(n) Bread, milk, and sugar served in a bowl. Common amongst poor families. The bread is ripped up or shredded, sugar heaped on, and milk poured on top. Also called Bread Soup.

We were so poor that we had to eat bread cereal when we got hungry!
