Swarp

A term used when a product or technology goes from Slow to Warp speed growth. The swarp is the point when it changes from slow to warp speed. Like when the smartphone went from slow growth in 2009 to warp speed growth in 2010. It is the breakthrough point of a product or technology.

The term was coined by Vivino founder Heini Zachariassen in a YouTube video about Startup Disruption.

Most people agree that self-driving cars won't hit swarp till 2025 or maybe even as late as 2030.
