A word with no racial overtones, describes a product that was poorly made. Usually these products didn’t resemble what was advertised on the box.

That bowl looks chinky and brittle. We will be returning it.

The apparently archaic word used to discribe a hairdyer with a comb attachment. It will earn you many stares if used in any public forum. Term maybe be subject to the location where you live.
