A “timeline” is a set of events that take place through a set period. These can be very simple or can get more complicated as you add more events to the timeline.
Kris: “Why do people keep telling me to watch Captain America: The First Avenger before Iron Man?”
Derrick: “Because it comes first in the timeline.”
