The act of a retail corporation slightly changing a product to save costs while maintaining retail price without disclosing the change to the public (slightly less content in a package, modified/changed ingredients, etc)

Me: does this bag of chips seem lighter?
Friend: That’s Conmerce for you. 10% less chips, 100% original price.
