Pretty much the opposite of the marijuana-smoking sense of the word chief.

Doris: Hey wanna chief?
Gertrude: It's ok, I'm gonna squidge.

Later that evening:
Abby: Hey wanna chief later?
Gertrude: It's ok, I'm squidging.
