TAL
Something or someone that fills you with such profound, mind-boggling hate and irritation that you feel compelled to point out, loudly and to no one in particular, exactly how far it is from being fine. Not "fine" in some vague, philosophical sense, but not fine by a margin so vast it could swallow entire galaxies and still have room left over for the paperwork. It is the rage reserved for things that fail so thoroughly, so spectacularly, that the mind reflexively files them alongside all other equally unacceptable outcomes, for example your parking space being taken, or for instance, or the Earth being demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, two events which, TAL insists, are exactly the same size of problem, and don't you dare suggest otherwise.
