When someone has left some kind of impact, typically bad, that it forces a related person or group of people to check out (leave) out of embarrassment or disinterest.

The phrase references old time chat rooms with the notice that “____ has left the chat.”

Has entered the chat

When a topic is presented or being discussed (typically through video) and causes the summoning of a person or people with relation to said topic out of curiosity or interest. It is frequently commented on videos as a joke.

It may be used in different scenarios as well. Its primary purpose is to create a hypothetical awkward and/or funny moment.
