A situation which is reached after making terrible decisions but will make for great stories.

On seeing his car fallen head-first in a ditch, Srihari exclaimed : "We find ourselves in a Samaltous situation".

"Oh man, having Nitin on that trip to Florida made it a Samaltous situation, through and through."
