Unintentionally receiving content from a social media community, group, or subreddit by the platform’s algorithm, despite not subscribing or expressing interest. The act of being forcefully included in a community’s content algorithmically, as if being silently “subscribed” behind your back.

I keep getting posts from r/DentalSurgery even though I’ve never clicked on one. I think I’ve been shadowsubbed.
