death gate

A metaphorical gate a player makes that makes other players who walk through it die before they get a chance to do anything.

Teammate: They built a death gate in their spawn.
Other Teammate: *walks through to check and dies*

symmetra

A hero in Overwatch who camps in small rooms and creates death gates with her laser sentries. She also has an overpowered laser beam that takes no aim to use and will wreck you if you do nothing about it.
