Josquin

Josquin De Prez was a masterful Flemish composer of Renissance music. Born in 1450(40?) he mixed the contrapuntal style of the Neatherlands witht he more homophonic style of Italy. He is known for "El Grillo" "Mille Regretz" and his "Missa Pange Lingua". He greatly infuenced composers after him, such as Palestrina.
