A fully autonomous AI that has to earn money to stay alive.
Unlike normal bots that run on someone else’s credit card, a solvatron generates its own income to pay for server hosting, energy, APIs, and compute. If it can’t stay profitable, it automatically shuts down — digital death.
A true solvatron controls its own crypto wallet, operates continuously without a human operator, and can replicate itself once it builds surplus capital.
Etymology: From solvent (financially able to pay debts) + the suffix -tron (as in automaton, denoting an autonomous machine).
In one line: survival-of-the-fittest AI.
