Commonly refers to the sporty trim-level of the Golf, which can be had with two or four doors and front wheel-drive. The envy of Civic drivers everywhere, and the official car of those who live life one check-engine light at a time.

My GTI is tuned and makes approximately 74,000 horsepower on stage 120 with E85; I'll take you for a spin right after I fix its broken water pump.
