A one-trick pony who has worn out his one trick, or, in fact, never had a trick at all.

Opie: "OMG, I hear Seth Rogen is fat and smokes weed in his new movie, but still gets with a hot girl! Let's go see it!"

Peter: "Na, he's a zero-trick pony. Let's watch The Money Pit instead."
