typonese 

1994 EFnet IRC.

An emerging language related most specifically to RT (real time) chatters on IRC (or other related chat rooms) which a Keyboard is used for communication thus replacing spoken language. Errors in correct spelling and grammar result in combinations of shorthand and misspelled words. The result is the language better known as typonese.

Using the word in a sentence:

You don't have to worry about correcting yourself. I speak fluent typonese.

typoing 

The active process of making typos. Usually in Instant Messages or Texting where the typist hits enter/send before seeing the typo.
Can be used as either:
A noun: Typoing is quite common.
OR
A verb: We were typoing yesterday.

My friend Laura and I frequently communicate via IM typoing.

Typoretardism 

1. The unintentional and incorrect spelling of a desired word, or indeed putting the WRONG word instead.

2. A funky word for typos.

3. A chronic illness that prevents the correct spelling of words. (Not to be confused with dyslexia)

(*Typoretardism usually occurs when a person tries to type in darkness, misplaces fingers on a keyboard or thinks faster than they type and write the wrong word.)

Example 1-

Leah: Lily Allen and Country Love were fighting on Twitter
Jamie: Country? you mean Courtney XD
Leah: LOL XD
Jamie: Typoretardism

Example 2-

Jamie: Makes England look comparitively DRY
Jamie: mind you England is still like 50% of the worlds wettets
Jamie: wettest*
Leah: TYPORETARDISM!!!!

Typorrhea 

A condition causing sloppy typing, characterized by frequent typos.

That noob has typorrhea, somebody should teach him how to use a qwerty.

typown 

When you send an IM to someone as they are is finishing a sentence in another window and catch the last part of their message. Embarassing for the other end but somewhat pride-inducing for the "typowner".

Typoon
