Mid-Twenties Breakdown

A time of mental breakdown that occurs during a person's twenties, often a result of an inability to function outside of college/university or other types of structured environments. Feeling alone and/or useless also tends to be a symptom of the mid-twenties breakdown.
Soon after Paul finished grad school at age 24 he found that he couldn't get a job and had a mid-twenties breakdown and moved back to his parents' basement where he spent most of his days playing Xbox and smoking weed.

mid-twenties

The age range in your twenties, beginning at 24 and ending at 26. Up until 24 (20-23), you're in your early twenties. After 26 (27-29), you're in your late twenties.
When I hit 24, I had transitioned from my early twenties to my mid-twenties. Then I had a mid-twenties crisis.

Mid Twenties Rage

That moment in the mid twenties when you don't want to pretend to be mature anymore like you felt you needed to in your early twenties and you decide to rage until you reach your late twenties.

I Roll Twenties

Slang term similar to saying "I am awesome at everything."

Stems from the proud nature of D&D-style games where rolling a Natural 20 (a twenty straight from the die) is considered a great skill.
"That is because I roll twenties." - Tycho Brahe, Penny Arcade

Terrible Twenties

Age 22 - 29. The period by which the safety net of school and parents are no more (or coming to an end) and the world is thrust upon you, forcing you to grow up. It's the period of individual growth and learning of the world--away from the shelter of parents. It includes feelings of angst, frustration, depression and forced evaluation of self. It is followed by the intrinsic need to have one's own family.
Friend #1 (Age 23): "I can't get a break in life!"

Friend #2 (Age 33): "You have to crawl before you walk...you're in the terrible twenties."

rainbow twenties

The new (circa 2002) 20 dollar bills that is siginfied by the pink and blue ink which has been added to the usual green and black. Due to the "flamboyant" color scheme of the newly circulated bills, the term "rainbow" was given to the twenty dollar bills. Not unlike the term "big face twenties".
"Hey cashier, why doesnt this rainbow twenty doesnt work in your Sprint bill pay machine?"
