To contain the qualities of both an animal and human. From the Greek prefixes Theri- meaning "wild animal" and anthropo- meaning "human".
This word is usually used to describe gods, (i.e. Bast) but is also literally what a furry is.

The Egyptian goddess Bast is a therianthropic Deity.

The characters in Furrlough are therianthropic.

(noun): A comprehensive school of thought that examines the human condition as a unified whole; specifically, the pursuit of wisdom that bridges the gap between the mechanical realities of biological evolution, the cultural development of human civilization, and the metaphysical intent of a divine creator.
