Phrase to literally identify anything as a “thing”. Used mainly to state that something unusual is going on and it’s a thing because it’s in reality.
“The woman at cvs just closed the door 25 minutes earlier so I guess that’s a thing”
“My boyfriend is actually a woman soooo apparently that a thing “
“Wow that’s a thing?” (Talking about any crazy situation)
“Mom I just got arrested for walking drunk.. I didn’t know that’s a thing”

A statement to denote something strange or repulsive or unexpected that was just seen or brought up in conversation.
