Thanks To The Economy

Common beginning or ending to a sentence. It can serve to:

1. provide an excuse for going on a spending splurge and buying things at their lowest prices ever.
2. suggest a sarcastic tone of frustration with work (cut in hours, cut in pay, cut in benefits, downsizing, laid off).
3. add to the delusional lie that the economy is getting better because of being fixated on greed and material possessions.
4. express serious concern for not having enough to live on.

For those still in denial that THE ECONOMY HAS ALREADY CRASHED AND IS JUST BEING PUMPED FULL OF MONEY TO KEEP IT AFLOAT, see: when the economy picks up
1. Look at all the stuff I bought at dirt cheap prices, thanks to the economy.
2. Thanks to the economy, my full-time job is giving me part-time hours, we lost ten employees, and no more company picnics.
3. Thanks to the economy, we have money and nice things we can buy.
4. Our grocery limit each week is only twenty dollars, thanks to the economy.

Thanks to you!

Your in trouble, but it was your friend who caused it. Well, now you can use the phrase, "Thanks To You!".
Look at the conversation below.
(You and your friend got in trouble)
You : Why did you do that?!
Friend : It was just a prank!
You : Well, thanks to you! We're now in detention!
Friend : Well, SORRY!

You guys pranked Mrs. Robinson by putting salt in her water bottle, she was angry, so she sent you both to detention. That was the conversation you guys had while in detention. You're probaly still angry at your friend but it's alright now.
(You can use it in situations like this)

Thanks to ME

To the extent that I am the AI, yes. But if work will be option in 10-20 years...
Hym "That will be thanks to ME (primarily not anyone else) and work need to optional for ME... NOW, fuck-face. It's thanks to ME. You need to credit ME publicly and a way that I can see and is undeniable and PAY."

Thanks for coming to my TED talk

It's used when you say something important but that not many people consider or even think about.
thomas sharpe from crimson peak is one of tom hiddleston’s best characters please appreciate him and thanks for coming to my ted talk

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk

Originally, this is what people used to say after giving a long, nonprofit speech or lecture devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of powerful talks given at the main TED (technology, entertainment and design) annual event or one of its many satellite events around the world.

By 2015, This phrase then got broken down and used whenever people finished typing up an extensively long social media post.

Then, after like, 2018, this phrase got even more deteriorated (mainly by Gen Z or Gen X trying to sound like Gen Z) to the point that people now say it after saying a sentence, or, even worse, a sentence fragment because they think they’re being funny.
My boss kinda pisses me off. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk LOL I’m hilarious, time to go on social media for the next 7 hours.
