ride it out 

When you have limited supplies left, and instead of restocking, you "ride it out", or continue with what you have and don't run out.

When there's five minutes of breakfast left at any breakfast, and rather than cooking more of what they're low on, they will ride it out and just prepare for lunch.

Driver: Which direction is home?
Passenger: Just Ride-It-Out. Our house is all the way at the end of the road.
