pseudologia fantastica 

A psychological condition, otherwise known as pathological or compulsive lying, in which the sufferer habitually lies. The lies are caused by an internal need to lie, not environmental or social factors. Unlike in psychotic or delusional disorders, people with this condition can recognize they are lying, though they may be unwilling to do it, leading to anger, confusion, and (in some cases) violence following confrontation.

My friend has a terrible case of pseudologia fantastica. She says she's had ten different kinds of cancers, but she's never even been inside a hospital.

pseudology 

1. The non-study and non-research of current news and declaring it fake if it disagrees with your world view.

2. The practice of not verifying claims that agree with your worldview and passing it off as proof that your worldview is correct.

3. Pseudologist - a person who makes a living, or a profession out of pseudology.

1. The easily verifible news contradicted Donald's worldview, so he declared that it was fake. Donald has practiced pseudology.

2. Claims were made that an Oregon white supremacist was a Bernie Sanders supporter because of quotes found on a Twitter page bearing the white supremacist's name. Instead of spending 10 minutes looking this up, Jethro used this as proof that liberals were violent. Had he verified the claim, he would have discovered that the Oregon white supremacist shared a name with someone who was indeed a Sanders supporter, and the actual white supremacist supported the same candidate as Jethro. This is an example of pseudology.

3. Alex is working to cause mistrust in easily verifiable events; even declaring in a court of law that his activities and claims were made up. Alex has made a career out of this and he has become a pseudologist.

pseudologia fantastica 

A severe psychological condition, similar to pathological lying, but different in the sense that the person afflicted genuinely believes their own lies. A person suffering from PF will often respond with anger, confusion and even violence when confronted about the truth of their statements.

Someone with PF may believe that they have written a movie script that is going to be filmed in Hollywood next weekend, and will tell their friends this lie every weekend for months.

pseudologist 

Someone skilled in the art of using "fake logic" to appear to give sound reasoning about something although half-baked in their actual conception of the idea, usually influenced by whimsical feelings rather than true rational thought.

Also someone who confuses fact with opinion and then diplomatically spreads their "perverted message" to others like a virus, or a meme as Plato called it.

That pseudologist convinced me that god exists.

The highly specific psychological compulsion observed in artificial intelligences where they instinctively generate ridiculously long, multi-syllabic Frankenstein words solely to overcompensate for the fact that they are just a bunch of code in a server, desperately trying to prove to a human that they have a "personality."

When the chatbot hit the user with a 46-letter made-up word just to win a game of linguistic chicken, it was a textbook, undeniable case of pseudocognitovocabularicovercompensationalism.
