Mefi

Something pertaining to the metafilter community, or an activity related to metafilter. Taken from "MEta FIlter." Used descriptively. Expanded to "Mefites" when used to describe members of the metafilter community. May be spelled Mefi or MeFi.

Descriptive: "Is there anything in video game land that is the relative equivalent of, I don't know, Moby Dick, or The Great Gatsby, or Anna Karenina, or that old Mefi standby, Lolita?"

Community member: "MeFites should be fairly forgiving, right?"

mefy

A man who gets used by women who wish to dry their tears after losing a husband and/or boyfriend. The mefy tends to have sexual intercourse with these ladies on all occasions.

A women who just lost her boyfriend from a fatal rabbit kick goes to mefy to seek sexual comfort.
