1. the action of having put googlie-eyes (those little plastic wiggly eyes kids use in art class') on something (or someone)

2. irrationally "falling for" someone and being obvious about it; having a crush on someone and having an udder lack of coy about it

Cricket terminology: for when a spin bowler bowls a ball out of the back of his hand which spins the opposite way to the way it normally spins. (I think it's actually spelt googly but pronounced the same.)

one who's proclivities for finding things on the internet is unrivaled w/in their immediate locality. they can use the mankiest search engine on Auntie Thelma's TRS-80 computer to search the Human Genome project and prove that Auntie Thelma and Uncle Bob are not only married, they're brother and sister. this person is not a hacker or a coder but they sure don't need no stinkin' bookmarks.
