To lure someone on dating apps or social media with heavily filtered and edited photos. It’s you, but like... not really. Not quite catfishing, but almost.

His date showed up looking 10 years older and 40 lbs heavier. That girl went filterfishing.

Filterphile 

(ˈfɪltərˈfɪljə)
condition in which a person is attracted towards photographic (beautification) filters (mostly used on social media), but he/she misattributes the arousal to the person using that filter.
in this condition, repeated observation of someone with attractive filters make them look attractive to the person suffering form 'filterphilia', even without filters. (same as placebo effect)

Fingerfail 

When one's fingers do not do as they are wanted to do. The fingers will mess up and aggravate the person attached to them.

Person A:
Dude! Do you wanna see my togue piercing?

Person B:
A togue is a lake trout, and I'm pretty sure you didn't get that pierced. Did you mean to say "tongue?"

Person A:

Yeah, I meant tongue. I had a fingerfail.

Like catfishing except you use your own photos.
All your pics use filters so you can't tell what you look like for real.

FilterFished

When someone looks noticeably different in real life than in their photos because they rely heavily on filters, FaceTune, or extreme online editing.

I didn’t even recognize her at the café; her Instagram had me fully filterfished.
