Euthenics is the applied science of improving environmental health conditions, such as education, sanitation, nutrition, and physical and mental well being. This sounds similar to eugenics, but eugenics refers to improving the human gene pool, while euthenics refers to improving human environmental conditions.
Many people wrongly label the global depopulation movement as eugenics, but in reality it is euthenics, because the intent is to produce a better environment not a better gene pool.

Get the Euthenics mug.
The story parents tell little kids to explain what happened to a dead pet. A portmanteau of euthanasia and euphemism.
"He's living on a farm upstate now." is an example of a euthenism.
