Pronounced "dig-it". US Navy slang for someone who "digs" the Navy, usually an insult. Often preceded by some sort of profanity. Digits are commonly seen with "digit tools" (leatherman's) and a flashlight on their belts, even if they never use them. Junior digits are usually ass-kissers, while senior digits generally cause their guys to work late.

Dude, Jones is such a fuckin' digit. Look at those creases in his uniform.

"dumbass" that goes to 11.
Usually said loudly when someone sees or hears of someone else doing something stupid. "He did what? DIGIT!"
