Bingering the witness

An inane line of questioning used in court proceeding with the intent of irritating the witness into reacting in an inappropriate way.

Bingering the witness

1. When an attorney asks a witness inane questions for far too long.

2. An ineffective cross examination.
"Bro, did you see the prosecution's cross?"
"Yeah man, they were totally Bingering the witness, why didn't the defense object!"

Bingering

Used in legal commentating to describe a prosecutor intentionally crossing Constitutional lines so as to cause a mistrial thus avoiding an acquittal.
He's bingering, he's trying to antagonize the judge so he will dismiss with prejudice.

Bingering the Witness

When the prosecutor knows the defendant is innocent of all charges but goes and ahead and tries to get him convicted anyway by asking inane questions, such as questions about playing Call of Duty or "exploding" hollow-point bullets, while the defense is failing to make any objections.
The prosecution's case was proven false but the prosecutor was desperate for a conviction and started bingering the witness.
