The first two months of the calendar year (JanuaryFebruary) in which a man grows a beard, often started over Christmas vacation. Men are encouraged to shave all but their mustache on March 1st in observance of Marchstache.

beardbarian 

A barbaric man, usually coming from mountain communities (or in Canada) that has a kick ass beard that's used in order to show dominance. One usually earns said beard, even ladies, though these are usually called Mrs. Beardy's.

Usually rages at trees, wildlife, fucking elves, and a lot of other shit. Also has an ax used for combat/logging.
Person 1: Dude, do you see that guy with the beard and the furs?
Person 2: Yeah, that's the Beardbarian!
