There are two very famous British Shorthair cats in pop culture. The first being Church, the cat from the 1989 horror movie Pet Sematary. The second being the British Shorthair used in the "I Can Haz Cheezburger" picture that kickstarted the LOLCat phenomenon

A british shorhair is a cat breed originating from the UK. it has a soft Grey/white/tan fur and it's often compared to a plush. The british shorthair was also the inspiration by the "Cheshire cat" in Alice in Wonderland

The most evil, spiteful breed of cat to ever walk the planet. British Shorthairs tend to give you dirty looks 24/7 and stare at you while they plot your death. They are always grumpy and are counting down the days until you drop off the face of the earth.
Person 1: What kind of cat is that?
Person 2: Oh, thats a British Shorthair. Don't make eye contact with them, they will stare you down.
