Plattitude 

The attitude or mindset that girls develop when at a school which has a poor student body ratio, such as 4:1 guys to girls, and the town is boring. This is especially prevalent at University of Wisconsin Platteville
I tried sayin hi to that girl over there... but she wouldn't even give me the time of day.

Similar to a word salad.

The language used by public figures to the effect of placating and/or galvanising an audience that in order to gain their trust. Politically this may lead to more votes.

However, there is usually zero substance and legitimacy in what is being said and no follow-through.
Ivanka Trump’s entire commencement speech was a gigantic platitude salad. She tried to come across as sincere but it was clearly disingenuous. What a Karen.
