He also used this alias to gain access to to the same apartment for sale as Kel Varnsen did during the Puerto Rican Day Parade. His need to gain access to the apartment was to use the bathroom. Another notable appearance in the apartment was Art Vandelay.

Pennypacking 

To drive aimlessly with no regard for the destination or time and no consideration for the others on the trip, often ending up at a destination far from the one originally intended. The driving is frequently interrupted by inexplicable stops.

I thought we were going to the beach, but Carl kept pennypacking, and we eventually ended up at some lighthouse. And with all that pennypacking, it was just before closing time.
