Lugz - Lugz is a boot & athletic brand by family-owned Jack Schwartz Shoe Company Inc. The brand was established in October 1993, and was aimed toward the urban fashion consumer. Lugz is sold in major retailers worldwide ,offered in men's, women's and kid's styles .

Men's styles include

Convoys - their equivalent to timbs
Available in wheat , navy with gum sole,
All black , black with gum sole or white sole, red with gum sole or grey .

Drifter Lo LX oxford

Drifter Ripstop - usually in navy blue, red,light grey or black in a chukka boot
Design .

Empire Hi

Drifter lo peacoat - in solid black , black with gumsole, light grey with white sole

Mens brute - their most aggressive and rugged looking boots

And many more styles including sneakers,
Jean's and sweatshirts.

Some may argue that they have gone down in quality, while personally I recommend if you get the red drifter or red convoy it would pair nicely with a dickies English Red work shirt meanwhile the navy version would go well with a blue flannel shirt.

Lugz boots are the Poor mans timberlands boots endorsed by rapper birdman.

The key difference is timberland are more expensive and are built for snow ,
While Lugz have a more urban appeal I don't recommend you wear them in snow
Especially east coast winters.

Lugz introduced itself to the hip hop community in time for Christmas 1993. The ad which appeared in hiphop's Source Magazine featured the first two boots from Lugz and launched the brand
