A cheesy grin is any teeth showing smile meant to project person's most pleasing facial expression in what is typically a happy time. The word cheesy-grin describes the teeth showing smile most often associated with a young excited child being told to hold a 'cheese' sound to hold a smile while getting their first portrait taken.
