Backstreet Boys Reunion Tour

In the wake of the CO-VID 19 pandemic, which occurred in the spring of 2020, the Youtube gods attempted to crack down on the hysteria by demonetizing content that contained the word 'Corona', 'Virus' or '19' in any variation, especially in that specific succession. So in an effort to avoid divine punishment, humanity made the collective decision (headed by Dan Avidan of the Game Grumps) to henceforth refer to the virus only as the 'Backstreet Boys Reunion Tour'.
Seven people in my town died after attending the Backstreet Boys reunion tour.

Backstreet Boy

Popular in Western Canada. Slang referring to hobo reserve indians who do not have a job , loiter , harass others, vandalize, live for booze, steal anything, go to pawn shops and wander aimlessly around an urban area. They mostly all hibernate in wintertime at their cousins.

Bankster

A portmanteau of "banker" and "gangster", popularized by (among others) the economist Murray N. Rothbard, used by him to attack what he held to be the inherently fraudulent nature of Fractional-Reserve banking (as opposed to 100% gold reserve banking, which he defended as the only honest form of banking). Frequently used in reference to The Fed.

In more recent popular usage, often refers in a vague way to the forces of "Wall Street", or to those persons in the financial services industry who grow rich despite the continued impoverishment of those who depend on their services, and despite their apparent inability to succeed in business without constant government assistance.
"The Fed is an organized cartel of banksters, who are creating inflation, ripping off the public, destroying the savings of the average American."

"The banksters crashed the economy, but thanks to generous federal bailouts, they won't have to sacrifice their fat bonuses."

Backstep

To go back on one's word or actions. To break a promise or change one's mind, usually with little or no prior notice. To renege.
I called to confirm with Cheryl if we were still on for our lunch date, but she decided to backstep on me after I made the reservations.

backstreet boys effect

the effect of hearing something which at first seems unappealing but then upon further review and repetitions, begins to seem pleasant

Backstage Larry

Backstage worker at "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" in charge of Bessie, the Late Night Lockbox, but doesn't know where the money that should be in it has gone. Has his own theme song, pyrotechnics, and clothing covered in money.
"Here comes Backstage Larry,
Backstage Larry is comin' out!
Here comes Backstage Larry,
All the ladies gonna scream and shout!"

Backster

The opposite of a hipster, a backster is a person who doesn't like things until after they're cool. Also known as slowpoke.
"He's such a backster that he just started watching Arrested Development."

"Hey guys, check out this awesome new band, the Neon Trees!"
