Get the Ocd mug.
An anxiety disorder that is characterized by recurrent, unwanted thoughts, or obsessions, and possible repetitive behaviors, or compulsions. Performing these so-called "rituals," provides only temporary relief, and not performing them leaves a person feeling bothered and anxious.
Every time someone touches me, I have to itch that spot. Yes, my rear too. Gets awkward. But I can control it to extents. Like loving embrace, I can deal with. But when someone deliberately pokes me, or taps me to get my attention, I've got to itch it.

When I'm on the computer, nobody can be standing on my right side. I don't know why, that's just the way it is.

I need to wear a blanket over my shoulders around one of my older brothers. It's only with him too, and I absolutely cannot stand to be around him without something covering my shoulders. I've been told that's OCD, at least.

Get the ocd mug.
A problem that can be commonly over looked. Causes certain thoughts and fears that someone without OCD might not have. The older a person is who has never been treated will most likely have worse problems, then a 14 teen year old being diagnosed.
The girl refused to eat anything that was made by someone that did not came out of packages, because her ocd caused super sensory toward germs.

You must repeat things & things must be "perfect" in your own way.

My OCD makes me turn off every light in my house at night.

I have to shut doors, or I will not feel "right". And will become extremley bothered.

Before I go to bed, I turn the volume on the T.V down all the way. But must leave the T.V itself on.

obsessive compulsive disorder

ocd, as the name implies, causes obsessive thought processes (i.e., when most ppl would have given up on a girl after she said no, i - having ocd - might still think about her a lot).

it also, as the name implies, causes compulsive actions (i.e., my mum gets a cold, so before i feel comfortable again, i have to wash my hands several times)

ocd is a bitch to have, man. if you don't know anyone with ocd but want to know what its like, watch monk. good show cos i can relate
a series of drugs can be used to treat ocd.

the only family of drugs i know to treat it are the ssri's (seritonin re-uptake inhibitors, or something). zoloft, for example.

Get the ocd mug.
A very real, very bad mental disorder, where you get intrusive thoughts that won't go away. You do certain things to try and get rid of them, but they become compulsive pretty darn quick.

NOT AN ADJECTIVE.
Ignorant person: I am SO Ocd, I tidied up my room twice this month.

Me: I've been diagnosed with it. Right now i am having an anxiety attack over stuff that I've read in a dodgy tabloid over two months ago. Time to check every page on the internet to fact check my idiotic brain. Oops, now I am obsessing over something new =)
