It is a backlash group against women's rights and feminism. Other backlash groups include the KKK and "white pride" who wish to reverse the rights of blacks by arguing that white people are oppressed. Similarly, MRAs want to abolish women's rights by lying that men are oppressed. Also, groups like KKK have been known to support violence against blacks, and MRAs are known for their support of violence against women. Both groups argue that blacks and women should stop "whining" and that racism/misogyny are not real.

- that women are inferior because ... the Bible said so, Shakespeare, Moore, Hemingway, his uneducated daddy, his baseball coach, the media, and 99% of male internet users.

MRA, an acronym, stands for "Men's Rights Activist."
An MRA is a person, who can be a woman or man, who believes in equality, but chooses to focus on the issues and rights of boys and men.
Issues include male suicide, workplace deaths, paternity leave, paternity fraud, father's rights, male underachievement in education, the draft, and more. MRAs also want attention to be brought towards male victims (rape, domestic abuse, child abuse, murder, etc.).
There are many aspects of society in which men are oppressed and women are privileged. An MRA can either believe that men have it worse than women or that men and women have it equally bad.
Some people claim that MRAs are Christians (or other religions), but studies (sadly, there aren't enough) have found that about 70 to 80% of MRAs are atheist alone. The last 20 to 30% are other forms of non-religion, or are religious.
MRAs can be any gender, race, sexuality, religion/irreligion, age, or place. It has been estimated that around 1/3 to 1/2 of MRAs are female. I have no information on race demographics, however, there are many people of many races who are MRAs. MRAs can be any sexuality, from straight to gay to bisexual to asexual. I have found an estimation of about 20% of MRAs are LGBT.

Sarah: There are literally women in countries who get acid thrown in their face for being too pretty, who get stoned for being raped, who get murdered in "honor killings," who aren't allowed to drive, who aren't allowed to show their faces in public, and more, and yet you have the AUDACITY to complain that the air-conditioning is just a tiny bit cold for you? Feminists like you are DISGUSTING.

Confused, angry men who fear having to live in a society where their superiority is not automatically assured by their gender. Typically frequent forums and websites rife with misogyny where they claim that rape is a falsehood used to control men, that feminism is 'female supremacy' designed to hand the reins of power solely to women, and disregard women's rights issues, claiming that discrimination against women is a thing of the past.
MRAs - ALL of them, without exception - are living examples of confirmation bias, never venturing outside of their established groups, publications, forums, et al, thus surrounding themselves only with that which serves to affirm their existing beliefs.
Tend to subscribe to the belief that all feminists, worldwide, are exactly the same as that one stupid angry teen chick they saw on tumblr that one time.

‘Men’s rights activists’ - a loosely organised internet collective consisting of insecure, privelidged white males, who didn’t receive enough hugs while growing up.
They will consistently (and predictably) cast the female gender as the cause of all their woes. Often using skewed logic or biased statistics to back up their claims.
Overwhelmingly lacking the ability to be introspective, they would rather blame an entire gender for their inability to befriend, date, have sex, coexist with women.
To these people, feminism is a social construct designed to repress and destroy their lives, and will often use a barrage of buzzwords learned from the most toxic places online.
Similar to the ‘incel movement’ and similarly pathetic.

Message Response Anxiety
A form of anxiety triggered by by someone (the sender) having to wait a long time (5-7+ Hours) to receive a response to a text or DM. The person who received the original message (the recipient) is never at fault unless they consciously chose to view the message and consciously ignore it (a quick glance because of lack of time doesn’t count) however regardless of anything the sender does to fight the anxiety, the longer it takes to receive a response, the more anxiety, builds, ferments and rots away the sender’s mental well-being as they begin to visualize increasingly worse scenarios pertaining to why they haven’t received a response
