Someone who is very self-centered. Especially pertaining to an adult who behaves like they are the center of the universe.

One Thanksgiving guest was behaving in a very samish manner by going on and on about how their mashed potatoes are much better than those being served.

1 - adj. used to describe someone who must have explinations presented for every aspect of life.

2 - adj. completely oblivious to everything that occurs, normally unable to understand metaphors and figures of speech.
