Surthriving

1. Thriving off of being a "surviver" of some nebulous problem, usually a trumped up issue to justify inappropriate behavior.

2. Thriving off of being a victim.
"Joan has practically taken over group therapy from the therapist. She has organized a charity and three support groups, since she recalled her 'childhood trama'."

"She sure is getting a lot of mileage off it."

"Yeah. She is Surthriving, alright. She did this when she discovered she was 1/32nd Native American and again, when she heard about people using live dogs as shark bait. She is a Surthriver..."

Survdriving

verb -

Compound word derived by combining "surviving" and "driving"
To frequently move from location to location when a vehicle is a primary dwelling place and there is no immediate, static, stationary residence in which to find reprieve, safety, and/or comfort from the challenges, threats, societal expectations, and demands of being in public domain.

The purpose of frequently relocating is primarily to avoid harassment and/or scrutiny from neighborhood/area static, house dwelling residents, harassment/interaction with law enforcement often summoned by aforementioned residents, property loss to fast acting "tweaker" thieves, and/or restrictive parking codes often implemented solely for the purpose of deterring the presence of vehicle dwelling residents.

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the “sigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
“That’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”
