Fielding’s Foible

(n.) A catastrophic social event where a person mistakes a corporate hierarchy chart for a dating roster.

A man who treats every "Performance Review" as a performance of a different kind. A Fielding's Foible is characterized by a complete lack of shame, a lingering smell of cheap cologne, and a rather concerning drip-feed of evidence for the HR department.
If 'name' asks the boss for a raise one more time while winking, he's committing a major Fielding’s Foible. I'm pretty sure the CEO has filed a restraining order.

Foiled Again 

A term often used by evil villains in cartoons when the super hero would ruin a plan of theirs by destroying a certain machine or revealing to the public the evil master minds' idea.
(Super Fred just blew up Evil Dr. Tims' death ray before Evil Dr. Tim could destroy Peace Town) Evil Dr. Tim screams "Curses, foiled again!"
