Immediately after spitting out old, flavorless gum, the person pulls out a new piece of gum and starts chewing it.

Yeah, Ashley is unfortunatly a chain chewer. She's up to a pack of orbit a day now.

chain chewer 

A person who chews a whole pack of gum in one day. When they run out they suddenly get bad breath (withdrawals) and get another pack ASAP.

Dude John always has a piece of gum in his mouth. He's definitely a chain chewer!

Chain Chewer 

Someone who spits the peice of gum they are chewing into the wrapper of their new peice of gum.

"did you see Jake today in fifth period?"
"yeah he went through a whole pack of gum without ever getting up and going to the trash!"
