An adverb indicative of time used by most Latinos, and translates
literally to '
later'. The
thing is, given they're Latinos, "ahorita" can mean anytime between 'in a few minutes' to 'in a few years' to 'never'. So be careful with Latinos using this word.
mom- "Mijo, venga a lavar los platos" (son, come wash the dishes)
me- "Ya mamá, voy ahorita" (ok
mom, I'll wash them later) *never washes any dishes*
mom- *throws Chancla at me*
