Short for "Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert". This was the original, and for a long time only, qualification that Cisco offered. Today it is seen as one of the highest accreditations of networking skill that there is. The CCIE exam is very hard and very few people get certified, but the salery for CCIEs is often six-figures.

Short for "Cisco Certified Network Professional". This is a Cisco qualification, the next level up from CCNA, and qualifies a person to configure medium-to-large size networks including MANs and WANS.

Short for "Open Shortest Path First". It's a classless Link-state routing protocol. Probably the most popular implementation of SPF (Link-state) routing.
