A gimmick that deceives the wits by using specious devices; perhaps catering to the stupidity or base desires of those falling prey to such a deception.

A delightful word, to describe people or faces bright with good cheer, forthrightness, optimism, or the like.

mystery tour

A short journey, especially with a group of other people in a bus, to visit places that are kept secret from you until you get there; often, this is done by management of a rock band or a musical establishment -- because it sees only the bottom line in entertainment or --namely the cash value of the group.

A lexicographic wonder comprising 20 volumes of mostly abstruse words, from the graveyard of the English language, in which old gentleman of Anglo-Saxon origin refer to as a conversation piece when drinking their tea with their cronies and chaps; sometimes it is actually referred to promote dry erudite works of literature.

empathy

Empathy is like sympathy but suggests an even closer relationship.
Sympathetic people try to be understanding and compassionate, but people who have empathy feel that they are inside someone else's mind and emotional being, feel that they are the other person for a while. They live with and share the other's joy, sorrow, pain, fear, love. Readers are often empathetic toward (identify with") one or more fictional characters.
