The current state of performing arts competitions (especially
dance competitions) in that their performances merely consist of a collection of moves they've copied from other sources —i.e. another
culture, performer, choreographer, routine, style, etc. It is rare to see uniqueness last
long before it's either copycatted into uniformity or stolen and exploited for someone's gain.
This competition is is full of routines that are using
the same moves and themes, so
much so that they are all starting to look alike. It'
s more of a copytition than a competition.
